Elvis – The Rhondda Years

The Tale of the Singing Miner of the Rhondda.

From the Badlands of Treherbert, the dazzling lights of Trebanog, the sheep fanciers of Tylorstown, via the ever so S*&t Asda at Tony Pandy….From the potholes of Penygraig, the flyover in Porth and all the way down to the smackheads on Taff Street Pontypridd…we give you, the rocking, the rolling, the raging….Elvis: The Rhondda Years!

Memphis Elvis Evans and his family have considered themselves the best Elvis Tribute Act in South Wales for years.  It is the day before the Elvis Festival in Porthcawl – the biggest moment of every year for them.  But all is not well, there’s rebellion in the ranks, as old secrets and crazy jealousies, as well as a nasty burn from a Greggs’ pasty at just the wrong moment, could tear them apart.  This hilarious, rude, original piece of gig theatre

Playing to packed out audiences in the latter half of 2022, Elvis: The Rhondda Years was a great play to get the toes tapping and the belly laughing. We very much hope that in 2024 we will be bringing more performances of this hilarious, Welsh comedy….which is a bit rude!
