Our new production, Oh! Oh! Antonio, opens next week, and tickets are still available for all four performances.
Inspired by the old music hall song, it is Stephen J Preston’s first full-length play for professional theatre. Over a few days in 1918, as the war comes to an end, we meet a chapel-going family in Maerdy. A stranger arrives with news that shakes them to the core, but the visit also helps them face the past, and each other, and find some hope.
As with all our work, the play brings together theatre, music, poetry and film: an original score, a new collection of poems by Professor Kevin Mills, and film by Chris Lloyd.
